IATA
is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing over 320
airlines across 120 countries. Our members comprise 83% of total air traffic. IATA’s mission is to represent, lead,
and serve the airline industry. IATA operates over 50 offices and 7
regional offices across the world.
We
are embarking on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The
BORA (meaning “better” in Swahili) program aims at delivering a new ERP
solution for IATA that will enable Corporate Services to deliver on their
fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business.
The
Senior Manager, Business Change Management leads the organizational change
strategy for IATA’s ERP transformation, ensuring that people, processes, and
capabilities evolve in line with the future operating model. The role oversees
stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and readiness, working
closely with Global Process Owners, the I&D team, and Business Leaders to
drive adoption and embed new ways of working across the organization.
The
role reports to the CS Transformation Lead.
What your day would be like
- Lead transformation on change management strategy, business readiness, and end‑user adoption across the ERP program.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and impact assessments to understand how new processes, roles, and systems will affect different parts of the organization.
- Develop and execute comprehensive Change Management Plans aligned with ERP transformation goals and timelines.
- Apply structured change methodology to guide stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, communications, training, and readiness activities.
- Partner with Transformation team, GPOs, I&D, and IATA business leaders to identify, assess, and manage change impacts across the organization.
- Build and execute communication plans that deliver clear, consistent, and timely messaging about the ERP implementation and BORA transformation initiatives.
- Lead the design and deployment of end‑user training programs to ensure employees understand new processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Drive business readiness across organizational, process, role, and training areas to ensure a smooth and successful go‑live.
- Track readiness and adoption KPIs, monitor areas of resistance, and recommend targeted interventions to support successful adoption.
- Provide hands‑on support during key ERP milestones such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go‑Live, and Hypercare.
- Partner with the BORA Transformation Lead on additional transformation, people, and project priorities as delegated.
We would love to hear from you if
- 10+ years of experience in organizational change management with large, complex transformation programs, including ERP‑enabled business or finance transformations
- Strong ability to translate process and system changes into clear, actionable impacts for people and teams, supported by experience designing and delivering change strategies, communications, and training.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and facilitation, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively with cross‑functional groups (Finance, HR, IT, and business operations)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present them in a clear, compelling, and accessible way.
- Analytical and proactive in anticipating e and managing adoption risks, with a solid track record of enabling successful adoption of new systems or processes
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
