The Manufacturing Engineer III is a highly experienced role that is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment in the Dayton Parker Lord Facility. Oversees and optimizes more complex manufacture, test, and assembly of new and existing Parker Lord products to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence. Develops advanced manufacturing techniques, testing new systems and methods for efficiency, and planning assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety. Will be responsible for developing and deploying large capital projects.
Manufacturing Process Flow - Plans and designs complex and advanced manufacturing processes to improve the manufacture, test, and assembly of new and existing products. Determines equipment and tooling needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product and quality specifications.
Process Improvement – Helps develop and implement process improvement projects that focus on manufacturing efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost. Leads teams in a large scope of process improvement initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance – Ensures complex processes and procedures comply with industry and customer regulations. Applies frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Strong computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
