Business Excellence – Project Manager (PM) (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) position.

The Operations Excellence Project Manager works within the Enterprise Services Operations and Engineering Applications service line to drive operational efficiency across the service line application portfolio, projects, strategy, financials, and staffing.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the Business Operations Leader and executive leadership team to mature the concept of operations for executing and successfully delivering the service catalog and define best practices.
- Assist in driving portfolio, program, project management and execution across the service line and defining best practices.

- Reporting creation in MS power point
- Facilitate BU’S meetings with the goal to creating the strategy by coordinating and streamline team processes, driving alignment, documenting decisions, fostering communication, and tracking action items to drive timely progress.
- Drive alignment and achievement of control tower metrics to maintain performance and operational excellence. Responsible for keeping projects on track.
- Lead the internal engagement efforts as a portfolio of internal projects and represent the service line as the CORE Focal on the ES Applications CORE team.
- Leverage the CORE operating model to baseline service maturity and identify CORE engagement opportunities to improve maturity
- Drive the operating rhythms and support monthly and quarterly portfolio, financial reviews and department wide communications.
- Assist in managing financial activities to ensure target variance is achieved.
- Drive Statement of Work (SOW) lifecycle including budget alignment, and proactive communication to leadership.
- Timely execute critical projects related to this position as they are assigned by cognizant leadership: Ad Hoc projects.
- Travel: 10%. Approximately 1-2 trips per quarter.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in project management operations arena and a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Finance, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
- Excellent technical, analytical, project management and presentation skills with experience in modeling and graphic representations.
- Experience in working in matrix organizations leading strategy and transformation efforts across multiple teams, BUs etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with and influence stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in application development, strategy, transformation and portfolio and project management with strong leadership skills.
- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry and a familiarity with Agile project management methodologies such as the scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodology.
- Experience in finance application services.
- Ability to obtain RTX CORE certification.
- Experience in supporting financial management of a multi-million-dollar budget.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
