Astronics AES is seeking a forward-thinking Supervisor, Program Administration to join our Cabin Power Products Group in Kirkland, WA.
In this role, you’ll lead the Program Administration team to ensure smooth operational execution, efficient program management, and on-time delivery—all while fostering strong relationships, process improvements, and team development.
While this is primarily an on-site position, we understand the importance of flexibility and offer the option to work from home 2–3 days per week, depending on project needs.
About the Role
The Supervisor, Program Administration is responsible for leading and managing the Program Administration team, enabling seamless execution of program and order administration functions. You’ll ensure the team is appropriately staffed, organized, and aligned with operational goals and customer requirements, while upholding Astronics’ core values and business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
Managerial Duties:
- Operational Leadership: Monitor daily activities, ensure workflows are optimized, and oversee task completion to achieve operational and business goals.
- Team Management: Recruit, direct, and supervise staff, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring a fair work distribution that prioritizes staff well-being.
- Performance Development: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance concerns to support continuous improvement and productivity.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs, deliver on-the-job coaching, and support the growth and professional development of team members.
- Policy Adherence: Enforce company policies and disciplinary measures where applicable to maintain operational discipline and integrity.
- Process Improvement: Champion lean methodologies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure error-free order processing for sustained operational success.

Role-Specific Duties:
- Oversee program deliverables by ensuring adherence to schedules and metrics.
- Provide program administration support to cross-functional teams, including Finance, Quality, and Operations.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Customer Program Management to align department initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Address escalated customer concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction.
- Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics to align with company objectives and lean initiatives.
- Cultivate accountability and motivation across the team for a highly engaged workforce.

Education & Experience
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Program Management, Program Administration, or Contracts, with increasing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with expertise in conflict resolution and team management.
- Relevant aerospace industry experience (5 years minimum). Candidates with experience in other regulated industries may also be considered.

Additional Requirements
- As a U.S. Department of Defense Contractor, applicants must satisfy ITAR eligibility requirements (U.S. Person status required).
- Employment is contingent on successfully completing pre-employment background checks and drug testing (including cannabis screening).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $86,430–$129,645 per year (Midpoint: $108,037).
Final compensation will be commensurate with experience, certifications, and market conditions, with most new hires starting near the midpoint.
