Position Summary
Ensure that regulatory documentation and service standards are aligned with corporate objectives, the Customer Experience strategy, and Safety & Security regulatory requirements. Provide support to the Flight Operations Manager, Cabin Crew, in ensuring that the Cabin Crew Department strictly complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in and uphold safety and security policies and procedures in alignment with FY operational objectives.
- Lead and drive staff performance within the Cabin Crew Department to ensure operations are carried out in compliance with company policies.
- Plan, develop, implement, and review the Cabin Crew Performance Management framework in line with organisational goals.
- Monitor and analyse cabin crew performance data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure service standards, SOPs, and regulatory documentation remain current and aligned with industry and company requirements.
- Develop, circulate, and regularly update operational and station-specific information for Cabin Crew, including CIQ (Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine) requirements.
- Conduct Cabin Crew Department (CCD) Observation Flights as required to evaluate in-flight service quality and compliance.
- Assist in preparing and compiling the Department’s annual budget proposal.
- Collaborate with Human Capital on administrative, disciplinary, and performance management matters.
- Oversee disciplinary processes related to misconduct or non-compliance with policies and standards.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Manage all CCD-related data and filing systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality.
- Administer Crew Removal, Reinstatement Post-Absence, and Resignation Clearance processes:
- Review and clear cabin crew members returning from maternity leave, long-term medical absence, approved leave, or no-pay leave.
- Ensure returning crew meet grooming and operational readiness standards.
- Oversee clearance procedures for resigning crew members.
- Assist in the recruitment process for cabin crew, including interviewing, evaluating, and selecting suitable candidates.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Safety, Training, Quality Assurance) to align departmental performance and safety objectives.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Flight Operations Manager, Cabin Crew.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Flight Operations Manager, Cabin Crew
Qualifications
- SMP, Diploma & Degreee in any related field
Areas of Experience
- Minimum 8 years of operational flying experience or previous experience in safety management, audits, or investigations.
- Qualifies and current on at least one of Firefly’s operated aircraft types
- Strong understanding of SMS principles, operational regulations (CADs) and ICAO Annexes
