Astroncs Connectivity Systems & Certification, Kent division, and ACSC-Kent division designs, engineers, manufactures and certifies innovative, reliable digital in-flight entertainment and cabin management systems (IFE/CMS) for the corporate, private and VIP aircraft industry. Our custom digital applications have been installed and commissioned on a wide range of VIP/VVIP narrowbody and widebody platforms in addition to numerous private and utility jet, turboprop, and helicopter models. Summary
Reporting to the Director of Customer Engineering, the System Integration Engineer I will be the primary focal point for System Integration activities, including testing, troubleshooting, and hardware setup for VIP/VVIP IFE/CMS projects. Additionally, the candidate will assist in capturing requirements for the assigned projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage multiple project integrations for IFE/CMS systems, including interpreting the functional requirements, hardware/wiring setup, and System Integration Lab (SIL) equipment inventory.
- Primary owner of System Integration Testing Procedures (ATPs) for customer programs and formal witness testing.
- Conduct the System Integration Testing, disposition of the results, and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the customer technical focal for system integration status reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate formal testing reports for customer review and approval.

Education and/or Experience
Required:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in large-scale integrated systems, preferably with Cabin CMS/IFE Systems.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable interfacing at all organizational levels, especially with customers.
Preferred:
- Aircraft Cabin CMS/IFE Systems, VVIP or Business Jet systems preferred
- Aircraft system installation and wiring design interpretation
- System Integration Testing methodology
- Self-supervising within the guidance and expectations of divisional management
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills

The salary range specified is applicable to positions within the Washington State and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, individual skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of our business and organization. At Astronics CSC, it is uncommon for new hires to receive an offer at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated yearly salary range for this position is $72,430 to $80,645 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for our Quarterly Incentive compensation bonus. Astronics offers a competitive salary, along with opportunities for career growth.
