The role
In this role, you will be the subject matter expert providing Primavera P6 EPPM & Oracle/SAP Financial application knowledge to the team. You will be accountable for creating and maintaining project budget data including schedules, actuals and forecasts and contribute to a number of projects.
The Senior Project Controllers Principle Accountabilities Will Be
- Take the lead on providing a view of project health & status at any given point within each financial year in order to inform management decisions at an operational level.
- Produce long term project and programme information to inform and update long term plans.
- Produce near term (3 month look ahead week by week) capital projects cash-flow forecasts for MAG Finance.
- Produce up to date medium term (12 month rolling) forecast of capital projects cash-flow for capital programme Outturn.
- Lead on payment tracking and cash-flow forecasting for accrual purposes.
- SAP administration – releasing projects, budgets & time booking on projects
- Responsible for auditing commercial management services and Contractors commercial management to ensure consistent high standards for MAG.
What will make you successful in the role?
You will need to be an experienced user of Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM enterprise tool, with a technical ability to update and manipulate the system in order to shape bespoke reports. You will have the knowledge to integrate Primavera P6 with other enterprise systems, and the ability to create system customisations, Primavera P6 custom report writing and data transfers from previous Primavera P6 versions. You will also need significant experience in providing both near term & medium term project cash-flow forecasts (12 month rolling).
