Vista is expanding its Part 145 network, rebranding all facilities to ‘Vista Aircraft Maintenance’ during 2023. Our locations include Base Maintenance facilities in Farnborough (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Paris Le Bourget (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Munich (MCM Munich), Baden Baden (Air Hamburg Technik), Van Nuys (JetWorx) and Bay City (Red Wing Aircraft Maintenance) with additional Line Stations in Malta, Nice and Luton and Mobile Repair Teams in South Florida and the New York area.
The appearance of our aircraft plays a significant role in creating a lasting impression for our clients, while a clean exterior can also help reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency. We are now looking for an experienced Detailer to join our team in Farnborough.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing a thorough, efficient and professional detailing service including but not limited to light aircraft interior cleaning, deep aircraft interior cleaning, leather cleaning and reconditioning, carpet extraction, cleaning and spot removal, brightwork polishing and finishing, and aircraft paint restoration, polishing and cutting back.
- Becoming familiar with various aircraft and the detailing requirements of each
- Correctly using and care of company equipment
- Working in accordance with all company policies, procedures and processes - always giving special consideration to health & safety
- Ensuring that working area and hangar is left clean, tidy and safe post any detailing activities
- Attending training sessions where required
- Any other task in line with the role as required by VAMF in order to provide a full and efficient aircraft detailing service
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- PC Literate to enable use of Microsoft Office to a basic level.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Good Time Management skills.
- Able to understand work orders, work cards and refer to and use applicable maintenance data.
- Knowledge of ‘Human Factors’, human performance and limitations is desirable
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety in the workplace and individual responsibilities in this regard.
