Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is seeking an Order Administrator to join our Cabin Electronics / Cabin Power Products Group in Kirkland, WA. This on-site position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing you to work from home 2-3 days per week.
JOB SUMMARY
The Order Administrator collaborates with Program Administrators and Program Managers to ensure the successful completion of programs and optimal customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing orders from receipt to delivery, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain awareness of contractual terms for assigned programs. Review purchase order terms and oversee the order entry and acceptance process.
- Manage customer status requests and open order reports, supporting the Program Administrator and Program Manager with reporting.
- Handle customer-requested schedule changes and/or expedites by working cross-functionally to meet customers' needs. May assist with customer forecasts and accuracy.
- Typically manage internal deliverables for program orders and provide support to Program Administrators and Program Managers for external customer-facing activities. May assist with customer-facing communication for order acknowledgment and status.
- Maintain awareness of proposal or contract changes.
- Coordinate with other organizations (procurement, finance, administration, production control, etc.) to meet program objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required.
- Demonstrates familiarity with the functions of the role, typically achieved with 1-2 years of related experience.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Program Management, Operations, Finance, Contracts, Order Administration, Procurement, or other related functions.
- Proficient in MS Office, internet software, SharePoint, and database software.
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical program information.
- Exceptional attention to detail, including accurate data entry and proofreading.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics must comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be US Persons under ITAR to be eligible.
- Employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test, including screening for the use of cannabis.
COMPENSATION
- Salary range: $24.52 - $36.79 per hour (Mid-point: $30.65)
- Astronics also offers a highly competitive Quarterly Profit Sharing Bonus.
- Several factors, including experience, skills, training, certifications, and market conditions, influence the actual salary offered. In most cases, new hires will be positioned closer to the mid-point of the range.
