Description

Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Coordinate, develop and deliver all planned and unplanned maintenance requirements for the facility maintenance needs in the hub environment. Coordinate daily workload requirements between internal and external departments ensuring required paperwork, materials, tooling, and manpower are made available to minimize operational impact of facility maintenance requirements. Monitor and manage BHS and BMS systems providing time critical communications and coordination in reactive and preventative maintenance needs. The coordinator must be able to use all the tools and resources in place to disseminate and provide clear, concise and accurate information and direction to a large staff in an effort to keep the BHS functioning properly and direct maintenance activity needed within the facilities.
- Dispatch Facility Maintenance teams throughout the facility to resolve system and equipment issues and address customer complaints, providing clear and concise information to support effective troubleshooting. Maintain consistent communication with Station Operations – including Customer Service, Ramp Service, and other key stakeholders regarding all major issues. Create work orders using the AssetWorks work order management system and track and manage all work orders through completion and resolution.
- Monitor the Facility Maintenance Service Portal for incoming service requests, dispatch Facility Maintenance Technicians as appropriate, and escalate issues to vendors or port authorities.
- Monitor and manage BHS and BMS/Safety systems providing time critical communications and coordination for maintenance needs. Monitor the BHS and take necessary actions or make configuration changes during system failures or irregular operations. Escalate system outages to Systems Engineering and coordinate with the software company / provider and DT for software and controls related issues.
- Track, coordinate, and communicate all BHS construction alterations to ensure the system remains operationally ready for daily start‑up. Document mishandled bags, baggage anomalies, claim‑area scanning activity, and technician jam‑response times. Prepare hourly, daily, monthly, and annual baggage‑system reports, track and document mishandled bags that cause system jams, and make necessary decisions and adjustments within the system during irregular operations.
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with all applicable stakeholders, including internal departments, vendors, TSA, and the port authorities. Assist with administrative duties supporting front line Technicians, Supervisors, and Managers.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of Operational Airport Experience - Valid Driver’s License
- Proficient in Microsoft office skills;
- Proficient Communication skill
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism in demanding or fast‑changing situations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree or related experience
- AS – computer science
- 7 to 10 years Airport Experience
- Experience working with BHS
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
