Cabin Maintenance Planning is seeking Cabin Maintenance Planner who will serve in a high-profile fast paced role working closely within the Cabin Maintenance Control Center and other business units to establish optimized cabin maintenance plans using data driven maintenance task management tools and incorporating operational guidance from Cabin Maintenance SMEs. The Cabin Planner will be the Planning POC for Cabin Maintenance execution for daily planning and assignment requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Builds daily RON and RAD Cabin Maintenance work packages for all cabin maintenance stations.
- Assigns work packages based on risk, operational and/or layover requirements.
- Ensures all regulatory, reliability, and cabin projects are accomplished within set deadlines.
- Ensures aircraft are routed to specified maintenance stations fulfilling requirements of specialized tasks.
- Optimizes available man hours, station capacity, and station capabilities.
- Works in unison with internal CMCC individuals to minimize customer impact and ensure plan optimized.
- Responsible for re-assigning, deleting, adding and modifying work packages due to unscheduled events.
- Partner with support groups to ensure resource availability
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Minimum of 3+ years in a maintenance operation, planning experience a plus
- SAP is a requirement for this position
- Proficiency in computer systems such as Workbench, AOS, OTIS, and PowerApps
- Proficiency with technical manuals
- Ability to understand and apply technical manual information
- Prefer Cabin or Line Maintenance experience
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have experience working effectively on cross-functional teams with the ability to work in a diverse work group.
- Should have the ability to build relationships while managing multiple demands within a complex organization.
- Must be able to prioritize and adapt to constant changes in a fast paced, high stress work environment.
- Must present a professional, business-like image, have a strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence.
- Must be able to perform required tasks with minimal guidance, be detail-oriented, and exhibit excellent organizational skills.
- Must have fundamental knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Sceptre, Tableau and good overall computer skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of Delta’s flight schedule, aircraft types and maintenance programs highly desired.
- Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
