Temp-to-Direct Hire opportunity ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in Electrical Engineering, PCB automated testing, and power supply systems.
Pay Rate: $36.00 HR
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test procedures for printed circuit boards (PCBs), including high-reliability power supply units.
- No Go testing of transformers and Power supplies.
- PCB Inspection of soldering.
- Drive continuous improvements in test accuracy, process efficiency, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and provide feedback on product and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures and low-yield issues.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring all tools are operating effectively.
- Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and training within the testing team.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing and documenting initial test strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of electrical engineering experience, with a focus on automated testing of PCBs and power supply systems.
- Proficiency in test development platforms and tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality systems in electronics manufacturing.
