Qantas is currently accepting applications for the role of A350
Type Rated Instructor Simulator Instructor at our Sydney Flight Training Centre.
The Type Rated Instructor will be responsible for conducting A330/350 differences training, A350 type-rating courses and training and checking duties in A350 full-flight and fixed-based simulators. In addition to this you will also attend company meetings and other training-related duties. Opportunities may also arise to conduct training and checking duties on the A330.
To be eligible for appointment as a Type Rated Instructor, applicants must have the following experience and qualifications:
- Australian CPL (CASR Part 61)
- Instrument Rating - MEA with IAP2D and IAP3D endorsements (CASR Part 61)
- 200 hrs in multi crew operations
- Demonstrated high standard of proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety legislation applicable to Air Transport operations and Flight Crew training and licencing
- An in-depth understanding of Human Factors and non-technical skills.
The Following Qualifications Would Be Highly Regarded
- ATPL
- A330/350 Type Rating
- Flight or Simulator Instructor Rating, with IR A and A330/350 TR endorsements
- Previous training experience.
