HS&E – Training – Administration Coordinator
(Maternity Cover)
We are currently seeking a motivated and well-organized HS&E – Training – Administration Coordinator to join our team on a maternity cover contract.
This role supports the coordination of Health & Safety, Staff training, and administrative processes, while also providing operational support when required to ensure the smooth handling of aircrafts, crews, and passengers.
Working closely with the General Manager, Operations Supervisors, and other teams, the position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic aviation environment where operational coordination, compliance, and guest experience come together.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E)
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s HS&E policies and safety standards.
- Coordinate safety documentation including risk assessments, workplace inspections, safety meetings, and emergency response plans.
- Liaise with external safety consultants and support internal and external safety audits.
- Monitor safety reporting platforms and ensure all submissions and compliance requirements are completed on time.
- Coordinate communication with the company’s health insurance provider regarding employee coverage and claims.
Training Coordination
- Maintain and update the staff training matrix for the Athens base.
- Coordinate and administer staff training programs, including initial and recurrent training.
- Manage the company’s online training platforms and monitor training compliance and deadlines.
- Deliver induction classroom training sessions when required.
- Coordinate training activities with airport authorities and other operational bases.
General Administration
- Act as a central administrative point of contact for internal and external communication.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and office administration needs.
- Manage procurement of supplies and liaise with vendors and service providers.
- Organize company meetings, events, and internal initiatives.
- Oversee airport access and ID requirements for staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor employee time-tracking systems and report any discrepancies.
Operational Support & Guest Experience
When operationally required, the role may also assist the team in supporting Guest Experience Services, including:
- Welcoming and assisting flight crews and passengers upon arrival and departure.
- Monitoring arriving and departing flights and coordinating service requirements with Operations.
- Liaising with ground handling teams to ensure smooth aircraft servicing and a high level of guest experience.
- Supporting crew requests and assisting with passenger transportation or special arrangements when required.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- A proactive and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced aviation environment.
- Strong written and verbal qualifications in Greek and English
