JSG is recruiting for a Scientist I who will play a crucial role in advancing cutting-edge drug discovery through state-of-the-art BioNMR technologies. In this dynamic position, you will support an experienced BioNMR team in fragment-based screening, ligand-protein interaction analysis, and chemical sample preparation, contributing to meaningful scientific breakthroughs in a collaborative environment. Your work will involve handling chemical libraries, utilizing liquid handling robotics, and analyzing NMR and other analytical data to drive progress in our research efforts.
Pay $32.14/hour
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
- Strong laboratory skills in analytical chemistry, chemical handling, purification, and characterization
- Experience with chemical compound management and sample preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have Skills:
- Background in NMR spectroscopy and analytical chemistry techniques
- Experience with chemical databases and data analysis software
- Familiarity with liquid handling robotics and automation tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BS or MS degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- Prior experience working in a laboratory involved in NMR-based drug discovery or fragment screening
