The Product Executive sits within the Product and Content team as part of easyJet holiday’s Commercial function. The role of the product and content team is to shape and deliver destination strategies to maximise volume, increase revenue and improve conversion. The team collaborates cross functionally with a wide range of teams including customer operations, marketing, digital and finance. We are a forward-thinking team with a strong focus on commercial strategy, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the product strategy for an allocated set of destinations across the beach and city programme for easyJet Holidays. The position supports the Product Managers in identifying opportunities to grow volume through analysis of destinations, routes, and product. Through a broad understanding of the wider market and competitors, opportunities to differentiate easyJet Holidays product offering will be identified. The role also supports the wider Commercial team with Product expertise.
Job Accountabilities
- Support on capacity planning for your destinations by analysing market data and understanding the easyJet route network to support revenue growth.
- Monitor and manage the existing product range supporting the implementation of proposals for ‘quick wins’ to grow volume across multiple source markets
- Work closely with the purchasing team to review and benchmark opportunities for your destinations.
- Support with formulating destinations strategies to drive forward the product proposition.
- Review product quality and content ensuring this aligns with the product propositions.
- Support the implementation of processes and continuously review ways of working.
- Work closely with trading to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Work closely with the wider commercial and purchasing teams to ensure there is a continuous feedback loop for future seasons.
- Work closely with the Retail Trade team, supporting on product queries and hotel requests where required to secure sales. Utilise social media and any promotional opportunities to the trade in order to promote your destinations.
- Responsible for the maintenance and accurate utilisation of relevant business tools.
- Where required manage hotel errata for changes that occur pre-departure.
- Support the Customer team with Product expertise for any pre-departure holiday changes.
Key Skills Required
> Experience of working in a tour operator, airline or OTA is desired but not essential
> Strong analytical skills and high commercial acumen
> A creative & proactive thinker
> Strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build relationships quickly
> Proven decision-making and problem-solving ability
> Process driven, driving continuous improvement to existing processes and rolling out new processes where required.
