Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead application security strategy across all digital and enterprise platforms.
- Conduct application security reviews, threat modeling, and code assessments.
- Oversee vulnerability management for applications, including remediation tracking and risk prioritization.
- Integrate security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, etc.).
- Partner with Engineering & Platforms and Digital Delivery teams to embed DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate with Cloud Services on securing APIs, microservices, and containerized environments.
- Work with GRC to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, data privacy).
- Provide security advisory during new system implementations and third-party integrations.
- Lead incident response related to application-layer security breaches.
- Build and develop application security capability within the team.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent).
- Must have 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong focus on application security.
- Must have experience working in DevSecOps or secure SDLC environments.
- Must have strong understanding of modern application architectures (APIs, microservices, cloud-native, containers).
- Must have experience in vulnerability assessment tools and remediation programs.
- Experience in deploying and managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) security controls and services preferred.
- Experience in Cloud Solution Architecture preferred.
- Excellent understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Architecture preferred.
- Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
