Data Analytics Support:
- Support Propulsion Engineering with the business rules being applied for data centralization and data architecture.
- Partner with the Propulsion Engineering data team to support the identification and implementation of new data analytic requirements with data visualization, web analytics and data science.
- Partner with IT and other internal business groups as necessary to support deployment and product ionization of new analytical data requirements.
- Update and distribute the reoccurring reporting for the group and manage the reference tables.
- Product Support for the Propulsion Engineering webpage.
- Support Propulsion Engineering data integration and application development
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (aerospace or mechanical preferred) or comparable experience in an engineering related discipline.
- 2-4 years of work relevant experience
- Should have a technical knowledge of aircraft engines, engine shop processes, engine manuals and standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Previous Airline, OEM or MRO experience with commercial aircraft engines.
- Experience with SQL databases; specifically, DB2, Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL
- Experience with data visualization in Tableau
- Experience with data analytics software packages such as Alteryx, R and/or Python
- Experience with Palantir Foundry including data integration and application development utilizing Ontology objects and Workshop
- Familiarity with airline flight operations and support system.
