Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Metrology Lab Specialist for a one year + contracting opportunity with one of the worldâs premier research-intensive biopharmaceutical company and is located in Rahway, NJ.
Shift: 7.30am-4pm EST.
Hourly rate $36.40
Required experience:
⢠Minimum 2 years of relevant Metrology experience.
⢠Advanced computer skills using MS Outlook, Teams, Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
Preferred experiences include:
⢠Experience in device and combination product characterization & mechanical testing is highly preferred.
⢠Experience in GXP-Analytical laboratory testing or management is highly preferred.
⢠SAP/Concur or related system experience processing purchase orders (PO), expense reports, payment requests, vendor add forms, as well as stockroom inventory reports.
Experience in GXP-Analytical laboratory testing or lab management.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Responsibilities:
The primary activities of this position include and are not limited to the following:
⢠Coordinate and perform general laboratory administrative duties including, but not limited to, maintaining testing, calibration and equipment maintenance scheduling, ordering routine & specialty supplies, and facilities management.
⢠Maintain development and GXP laboratory equipment and instrumentation in accordance with internal and industry best-practices/standards.
⢠Coordinate laboratory technical & safety training, including documentation lifecycle management.
⢠Support team with laboratory procurement needs including purchase orders, invoice payments and expense tracking.
⢠Support team with domestic and international shipping of equipment (testing & manufacturing) and product samples (drug & combination product).
⢠Ability to interact professionally with internal and external colleagues both on-site and remotely to maintain laboratory workflows & operations.
