Reporting to the
Ramp Operations Duty Management team at
Birmingham Airport, our
Ramp Operations Supervisors play a pivotal role as an ambassador of our safety first culture, making sure your Team drive the culture through every aspect of their work. Through strong leadership and motivation, you’ll manage the
overall performance of the
Ramp Teams and ensure effective management of resource at all times.
What will you do as a Ramp Supervisor?
- You will be responsible for the efficient management of the Ramp team at the airport during the day to day arrivals and departures operations
- This role is pivotal to the achievement of our “On Time Performance” targets. In overseeing and managing the ramp handling operation you’ll ensure that all our customers receive a first class friendly and efficient service
What Skills/Experience Will I Need?
- Extensive experience within a Ramp Team Leader/Ramp handling Supervisory role in a Ground Operations environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience of the full range of Ramp procedures
- Previous experience of supervising or leading teams within an airside operational environment
- Ability to prioritise effectively and ensure the safety of our Customers, yourself and your Team
With a
positive and
conscientious approach, you must hold a full UK Driving Licence and posses or be able to obtain the relevant Airside Driving Permit, as well as the ability to pass a Class II medical.
