We are looking for an IT PRODUCT EXPERT, OPERATIONS SOLUTIONS to the Technical Operations area. We are offering an exciting opportunity to onboard your skills and competencies to work with Finnair Operations Applications Technical Operations (TechOps) IT team. In this role, you act as an IT product expert and are responsible for managing the IT support and maintenance of various TechOps area applications. We are responsible to maintain and enhance several technical operations applications, in which the most critical applications are SWISS AS AMOS and Lufthansa Technik’s Aviatar logbook. There are currently several digitalization initiatives in the operations area, and your role is to participate in those together with the business, ensuring successful implementations followed by Finnair’s standards. Main Responsibilities: Support and development of TechOps applications. Acting as a subject matter expert on your own area applications. Participating in external partner meetings, ensuring that business and other benefits are well utilized. Diagnose, test, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TechOps applications. Advise users on appropriate actions based on issues described. You will have responsibility for the documentation and instructions of the applications within your own area of expertise. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention and, when required, redirect problems to the appropriate resource. Participate in projects in your own areas of service and applications. Evaluate new functionalities of applications or IT services and deploy approved features . In this role you are expected to support applications and those interfaces technically. You should have general IT knowledge able to work in this role successfully. Our expectations: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge . Experience with Linux OS, AWS, JIRA and SQL . Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance IT applications or AMOS application is considered an advantage. Understanding of aircraft maintenance processes is considered an advantage. Experience of working in an agile and cycle based (CI/CD) environments. Excellent written and spoken English.
