In order to support our growing global security footprint, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an
International Sales Manager Integrated Air and Missile Defence (d/f/m) based in Ottobrunn, Germany.
The International Sales Manager is responsible for the conduction of sales campaigns within the Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) domain in order to achieve profitable deals as well as a competitive market position. The position will focus on countries on NATO’s Eastern Flank as well as Ukraine. In addition, the jobholder will support sales campaigns related to communications and information systems campaigns towards Ukraine.
The aforementioned tasks shall be carried in close alignment with Regional Sales as well as the corresponding programme.
The role is located in Ottobrunn, Germany, reporting to the Head of Sales Germany & International for Defence Digital.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
International Sales Manager Integrated Air and Missile Defence (80% of workload)
Implementation and design of the sales strategy for IAMD campaigns in close alignment with country directors and the corresponding programmes
Responsible for commercial aspects of transactions, evaluation of costs, risks, and benefits for commercial negotiations, using in-depth knowledge about the market, the products, and competitors to take advantage of all business opportunities.
Realisation of the planned order intake according to the technical and economic objectives
Preparing and conducting contract negotiations
Support sales campaigns related to communications and information systems campaigns towards Ukraine (20% of workload) in close alignment with corporate functions
Sustaining Airbus values and ensuring strict adherence to Ethics & Compliance and Export Control rules at all times
Business Travel expected (1,5 Weeks a month)
Desired Skills and Qualifications
You have Master Study in Economics, Engineering, and/or previous military career
You have pre-existing experience in NATO’s Eastern Flank/Ukraine and a high degree of cultural awareness; an existing customer network in these regions is a significant advantage
You have proven ability to manage complex commercial transactions and strategic negotiations.
You have the ability to obtain a NATO security clearance, or you already have
You have proficiency in English with excellent writing and presentation skills. Knowledge of Ukrainian or other local languages is a strong asset
You have a deep commitment to acting with integrity and managing potential compliance risks as a foundation for company success.
