Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent STEM field
- Demonstrated Ability in root cause analysis, problem solving skills, and statistical analysis
- Demonstrated Ability in scripting languages such as Python and/or MATLAB
- Experience with modeling, simulation and analysis
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. US citizenship required

The Work
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support multiple Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) programs and participate in all phases of the systems engineering process (system design, requirements development, modeling and simulation and test). The engineer will leverage RMS systems engineering processes and procedures while performing their respective engineering and verification activities.
In this important role, you will collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel. You will use mathematical models and simulation products to perform mission analysis, ConOps development, gap analysis, sensitivity and trade studies, system requirements validation, and performance prediction in Ballistic Missile Defense and Anti-Air Warfare mission areas. A desire to learn and adopt emerging technologies and tools will be key to success in this role.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Python/MATLAB scripting languages, engineering root cause analysis methods, and data analytics/statistical techniques.
