Requirements:
- B.S. degree in civil/structural engineering
- 8–15+ years in structural design engineering for power generation or heavy industrial
- Background in EPC project environments
- Design experience with reinforced concrete, structural steel.
- Experience with structural analysis software (GTStrudl, ANSYS, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with AISC, ACI, ASCE, and local codes
- Background in mentoring junior engineers
- PE License a plus, not required
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Lead Structural Design Engineer for simple cycle power generation projects
- Create and review calculations, drawings, and models; lead design reviews and technical discussions
- Mentor junior structural engineers
- Assist construction with field issues and design clarifications
- Ensure constructability and safety of all designs
- Support procurement with material specifications
- Participate in project scheduling and constructability reviews
