Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Security team helps us uphold the standards required to run a safe and successful airline. This includes global aviation compliance, geopolitical analysis, passenger incident programs and real time 24/7 security response to support and deal with the security of our facilities, aircraft, and employees worldwide.
- Act as the liaison with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Security Directors, Federal Air Marshal Service, State Department Analysts, Regional Security Officers, Federal Bureau of Investigation and international security authorities regarding issues of aviation security and compliance 24/7
- Log, guide and maintain investigations related to United’s Passenger Programs that address unruly and disruptive passenger behavior on board aircraft and in the airport 24/7
- Respond to notifications related to security events between operations and TSA 24/7
- Communicate with TSA Federal Security Directors, the Transportation Security Operations Center (TSOC), Office of Intelligence Watch (OI), Federal Air Marshal Service and FAA's Domestic Event Network (D.E.N.) 24/7
- Timely and accurate resolution of all security issues which arise on a 24/7 basis to minimize impact on customers, co-workers and the operation and report findings out to Corporate Security leaders
- Consults with Inflight Services, Flight Operations and Customer Solutions to assess impact of security mandates and provide interpretation and direction to operational personnel
- Initial point of contact between the company and I-SOS (International-SOS, security and international healthcare services company) for geopolitical analysis and specific country threat vectors 24/7

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or related experience
- 3+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of U.S. and foreign government aviation security regulations; airline practices and operational procedures; and United corporate policies
- Ability to comprehend, interpret and effectively communicate government regulations and geo-political analysis
- Ability to work in a high stress environment
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong people, planning and organization skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Basic computer skills including WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, and MICROSOFT TEAMS
- 24/7 operational shift work required including holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Aviation Security experience
- 2+ years of airline and/or airport experience
- 1+ years of Aviation Security experience
- 1+ years of Corporate Security experience

The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $108,790.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
