Skills:
- 3-5 years of machining experience
- Demonstrate good print reading skills and an understanding of GD&T
- Ability to read and write basic G & M codes, tool offsets and work offsets, spindle speeds and feed rates
- Must be able to use calipers and micrometers and other measuring equipment
- Ability to produce parts in Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium
- Producing small machine parts using machine controls to program, setup and operate CNC mills
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and needed supplies
- Reduce cost and improve on time delivery for existing products and work with the quality department to support the Quality System collaborate with your supervisor and other departments and co-workers shorten cycle time or improve the process
- Plan the work day by studying work orders, drawing specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Adhering to procedures in accordance with the ISO and AS9100 Quality Systems
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting such irregularities for repairs
