Skills:
- Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills on various pieces of manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to manage an equipment database for preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support process, manufacturing, and design engineering functions
- Investigate operational problems affecting production, report and recommend solutions.
- Maintain productivity and efficiency by effectively training production staff on manufacturing/assembly processes and methods. Make sure the written process translates into efficient and reliable production and recommend changes to Engineering as required.
- Continually seek ways to simplify your operations, invest and/or rationalize costs.
- Help diagnose production equipment issues and suggest improvements
- Including preventative maintenance
- Learn as much about all of our processes as possible
- Actively participate both internally and externally on NPI projects, Engineering requirements, RMA’s, CAR’s, and production.
- Manage KPI’s and communicate our performance regularly to other staff
