About the team you are joining
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Agency or
Airline Settlement Risk Management, the incumbent supports settlement risk
management activities for IATA’s financial settlement services in the areas of agency
and/or airline risk and executes the risk management processes for the assigned
countries within the Global Delivery Center (GDC).
What your day would be like
Monitor agency and airline settlement risk exposures, payment positions, and financial security coverage, and take timely action on risk alerts, missed payments, and negative balances;
Coordinate regular and ad hoc financial reviews with agents, airlines, and the Global Financial Assessor, ensuring follow-up on findings and timely closure of action items;
Manage risk mitigation processes end to end, including financial securities administration, daily collection cases, advance notifications, and recommendations or support for recovery and suspension actions when obligations are not met;
Review, respond to, and escalate internal and external risk-related queries while working closely with stakeholders such as agents, airlines, banks, insurers, and other partners.
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and trend analyses to support risk monitoring, governance discussions, and decision-making;
Maintain strong knowledge of IATA resolutions, local financial criteria, and SOPs, while contributing to continuous improvement of risk monitoring processes and tools.
We would love to hear from you if you have
3 years of experience in the area of finance, banking, accounting or related field preferably in a multicultural environment;
Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English, other regional languages would be an asset;
Excellent IT skills including MS office, advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Salesforce;
Knowledge of IATA’s settlement systems (BSP, CASS, ICCS, ICH) is a definite asset;
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, detail oriented;
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly demanding environment with strong multitasking skills while meeting tight deadlines;
Ability to set priorities and work in collaborative relationships in a global, multicultural, business environment with speed, strong customer focus, high level of drive and energy;
Independent, energetic, conscientious and self-motivated working attitude.
