JOB SUMMARY | RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Ramp Supervisor is responsible to multiple aspects of the Air Cargo Operations

Load and unload cargo freight on and off aircraft
Transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft and ramp transfers of cargo where required
Receive, deliver, and physical handling of freight and company material
Export at the designated express docks
Complete forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described
Pushout/tow aircraft and related guide man functions
May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment
May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility
Coordinates with all departments to ensure operational needs are met
Acts as company representative when assigned
Reports to work on a regular and timely basis
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
Ability to compute rate, percent, and interpret bar graphs
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Required)

Associate's Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; OR 6 months-1 year relevant experience/training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, write, fluently speak, communicate, and understand the English language
Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired but not required)

Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment
Ability to handle stress
Work with minimal supervision
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | WORKING CONDITIONS:

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted
Work in a high noise level environment
Able to work in an outdoor environemtn and withstand natural weather elements
