Delta and Endeavor Air have joined forces under the
Propel Career Path brand to create one streamlined and pilot‑focused experience – from recruiting to selection to a future Delta career. The Pilot Interviewer – Propel will participate in pilot interviews for Delta’s Propel Career Path Program alongside with Endeavor Air’s pilot hiring team. Each interview team will consist of one HR representative, one active Endeavor Air pilot, and one Pilot Interviewer – Propel.
These pilot interviews will be held at Endeavor Air’s headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. This role reports to the Sr. Manager – Propel Operations.
Summary Of Responsibilities (not Comprehensive Of All Tasks)
- Attend formal Propel Interviewer training and remain current on any procedure updates.
- Be able to conduct interviews on site in Minneapolis from Monday through Thursday a minimum of one week per month.
- Conduct interviews adhering to the interview guidelines provided to identify the best pilot candidates for the Propel program, who will fly at Endeavor Air to build experience and ultimately transition to Delta Air Lines as a pilot.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity and always exemplifying Delta’s Core Values and Rules of The Road.
- Demonstrate Delta’s Brand Behaviors of Welcoming, Elevating and Caring with every candidate.
- Be professional and represent Delta Air Lines in every interview and interaction.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be a current or previous Delta pilot
Time requirement:
- This role will be part-time 32 hours a week for an average of one week per month
- An interview week is typically Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:00pm
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with or knowledge of flight instructing in Part 141 or 61 environment
- Experience with or knowledge of university flight programs or Part 141 flight school programs
- Experience conducting interviews
