Johnson Service Group is seeking Contract Project Design Engineers for an ONSITE assignment in Arlington, TX, OKC, OK, or Roseville, CA.
Client is a leading provider of systems, products, and solutions in national security and technology areas. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring that technical, cost, and schedule goals are met. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, customers, and subcontractors.
- Looking for a strong technical background, more so than project management background.
- 8-10yrs experience minimum.
- 4yr Engineering Degree
- Mechanical, Design, or Electrical Engineering Background in aerospace industry.
- History planning, executing projects with some level of proven success
- History of leading teams and solving complex problems.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Earned Value Management (EV or EVMS), Control Account Management (CAM) is preferred.
Project engineers driving the project execution, evaluating technical engineering changes, working development of hardware, interfacing with manufacturing and factory operations, supporting supply chain.
Must be able to properly digest and interpret the engineering drawing, specifications, mechanical assemblies, hardware testing, and manufacturing documentation. Spinning CATIA models occasionally but they are not expected to perform detailed CATIA design
