Position Summary
We are excited to offer a role partnering an Engineering Team which is critical to our delivery across the enterprise, you’ll partner a member of the Executive Leadership Group, driving significant programmes, leading the way and making a lasting impact globally.

What you will be doing:
In this role you will work with the leadership team in mobilising the people strategy and driving the business plan, bringing the latest HR insights to the process. In addition, you will:
- Partner a member of the Executive Leadership Group, one of the leaders at the forefront of us delivering our business strategy.
- Ensure progress is driven on Strategic Workforce Shaping to support the business strategy and plan, backing it up with capability planning and development.
- Coach the leadership team in handling sensitive or complex HR issues and in their own personal development including meeting Rolls-Royce leadership expectations.
- Drive the effectiveness of the People Team model through working collaboratively across Head Office, the enterprise and utilising People Services, provide effective employee relations advice given the context the business area is working in.
- Own, manage and deliver global and local projects.
- Bring challenge and perspective to the business agenda, particularly ensuring robust succession plans, talent development and building an environment that allows people to be at their best.
- Diagnosing business problems from an Organisation Development perspective, using tools to identify the levers which will maximise organisation performance.
Position Qualifications:
- Ability to analyse and challenge business strategy and develop people implications globally
- Experience using Organisation Development to enhance business/organisational performance.
- Broad knowledge of the People (HR) function and its capability to support business objectives.
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills and senior levels and across functions.
- Broad change management skill set, combined with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organisational change.
- Ability to coach senior leaders and their teams to deliver business strategy and drive performance and capability improvement within their teams.
- Sensitive to language and cultural differences.
- Continual commitment to personal learning, demonstrated ability to build on learning and share within the broader People Team.
