GOOSE Recruitment is partnering with a globally active aviation components manufacturer to recruit a Sales Director – APAC. This is a high‑impact commercial role, focused on driving growth across key Asia‑Pacific markets through direct engagement with airlines and MROs.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a developing regional footprint, build long‑term customer relationships, and significantly grow revenue for an established PMA product portfolio.
The Role Reporting into senior leadership, the Sales Director – APAC will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, with full accountability for revenue growth and margin performance. The role is highly autonomous and hands on, requiring a strong on‑the‑ground presence and deep industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities - Own and deliver the APAC regional sales strategy, driving significant revenue growth
- Develop and manage senior‑level relationships with airlines, MROs, and key supply‑chain partners
- Secure placement on approved vendor lists and establish long‑term supplier agreements
- Grow existing accounts while identifying and converting new airline and MRO customers
- Position FAA‑approved PMA parts as high‑quality, cost‑effective alternatives to OEM solutions
- Identify opportunities for new part development and reverse‑engineering projects
- Provide market intelligence on demand trends, competitive activity, and pricing
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across the region
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial reporting
Target Markets Key focus markets include
Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Australia, with regional responsibility across APAC (excluding China).
Candidate Profile - Proven experience in commercial aviation sales or business development
- Background working directly with airlines or MROs (essential)
- Established network across one or more APAC markets (Japan/Korea strongly preferred)
- Track record of generating and growing revenue in relationship‑driven environments
- Experience within the aftermarket components space; PMA exposure highly desirable
- Strong understanding of airline and MRO procurement and approval processes
- Commercially astute, self‑motivated, and comfortable operating independently across a wide region
