Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company, is seeking an Engineering Technician (Chemistry lab) to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas.
Under general supervision, and following established policies, the Engineering Technician performs assignments requiring general use and application of concepts, practices, and techniques.
Essential Functions
- Handle, process, mix chemicals, sample and test raw materials, test propellants, test explosives.
- Prepare and collect data, may require performing mathematical calculations.
- Clean, assemble and dismantle test hardware, equipment and apparatus.
- Perform laboratory support work such as instrument calibration, laboratory cleaning, inventory, inspections, and material handling.
- Generate Test Reports, save test data, and report test data.
- Review and submit lab documentation for changes including test and calibration procedure
Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. This position requires the willingness and ability to work other shifts and overtime, as needed, with appropriate notice.
