The Boeing Global Services (BGS) C-17 Avionics & Flight Controls (AVFC) team is seeking a Mid-Level C-17 Project Integration Engineer to perform Integration activities in support of current and future development programs in Oklahoma City, OK.
This role will report to the Avionics Capability Delivery Manager for the AVFC organization.
The successful candidate will possess a broad set of project management, engineering, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to build and lead multi‑disciplinary teams to plan, organize, and execute work in alignment with AVFC project schedules. They will interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels, actively gathering information to understand stakeholders’ circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs. The candidate will have a strong grasp of relevant products and processes, enabling them to anticipate challenges and develop mature mitigation plans. They will coordinate complex project schedules that require interfacing with multiple organizations and will demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve project issues by proposing solutions or recommendations that drive successful project completion.
Position Responsibilities:
Define and schedule all support system elements through part number/book number level to ensure executable plans
Ensure support system elements are complete and correct to meet First Customer Delivery (FCB), flight test, and Kit proof milestones as applicable
Identify and deliver all interim work products required for downstream activities; ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely updates with controlled versioning and communication
Maintain and provide accurate, up‑to‑date status on progress, issues, and resolutions for all support system elements
Plan, conduct, and coordinate Support Systems Readiness Reviews as part of overall program integration
Represent Engineering positively and effectively with internal stakeholders and the customer
Foster a collaborative, multi‑discipline team culture that includes internal and external resources and customer representatives
Lead project integration to align teams and ensure all groups execute their work statements against a common schedule
Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
Ability to work under general supervision
May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years’ experience in Project Engineering role
5+ years’ experience in project planning and coordination
5+ years’ experience utilizing automated scheduling tools (i.e. OPP, MS Project, Primavera, or Artemis, etc.)
5+ years’ experience with the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements and an understanding of their products
5+ years’ experience with avionics systems integration
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Avionics Project Integration or Project Engineering experience
Avionics software development experience
Familiarity with USAF Technical Orders
Familiarity with USAF Support Equipment. Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work seamlessly with team members at different locations
Strong organizational/teambuilding skills
Good experience and an aptitude to remain politely persistent while achieving results in a fast-paced environment, developing customer-facing experiences, a strong quantitative ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 104,550 - 141,450
