Airport Development Manager
We are easyJet – a FTSE-100 listed, £multi-billion low-cost airline that serves tens of millions of customers every single year. If you’re reading this, you have probably already been an easyJet customer, and you’ll know that there is no more iconic (or Orange!) travel brand in Europe.
We fly more than 1,207 routes, connecting 38 countries across Europe, and employ more than 18,000 colleagues. We’re on a mission to make low-cost travel easy – and whatever your role here, you’ll connect millions of people to what they love using Europe’s best airline network, great value fares, and friendly service.
TEAM
The Airport Development Team manage a significant proportion of the total easyJet external spend (circa £1.5 billion per annum), covering all elements of airport charges and spend.
What You’ll Be Doing
Are you ready to support easyJet’s growth by assisting with the development of strategic partnerships across a diverse portfolio of airports? As an Airport Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in negotiating contracts, collaborating with airports, tourism boards, and government agencies to help deliver cost-saving initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive reductions in airport spend, while ensuring all contracts and service specifications meet business requirements.
In this dynamic role, you’ll help monitor financial performance, contribute to the accurate management of budgets, and assist in achieving savings targets set by the Senior Manager, Airport Development. You’ll also develop strong relationships with supplier management teams, support continuous improvement projects, and participate in airport charges consultations to secure the best outcomes for easyJet.
What You Will Need To Do The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Airport Development Manager who combines sharp commercial insight with thorough attention to detail and a flair for creative thinking. You’ll bring excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to draft and secure complex, high-value agreements. Confident in analysing financial data and building effective relationships at all levels—including senior leadership—you’ll thrive in a collaborative team environment. If you’re a proactive self-starter with the drive to deliver results, flexible to travel (up to 40%), and fluent in a second European language (mandatory), we’d love to hear from you.
What's In It For You
In return, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-paced, innovative airline, working alongside talented colleagues and industry leaders. You’ll benefit from professional development, exposure to high-profile projects, and the chance to shape easyJet’s future network. We offer a competitive package, travel benefits, and a supportive environment where your ideas and ambition are valued.
What You’ll Get In Return
> Up to 20% maximum bonus
> PMI
> Excellent staff travel benefits
> Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday
> Various flexible benefits and extras
