You will ensure that every client device—laptop, desktop, mobile, or virtual endpoint—runs optimally with all relevant applications deployed, updated, and monitored through automated, modern management tooling. You will play a key role in endpoint security, device compliance, software lifecycle management, performance optimisation, and user experience telemetry, ensuring colleagues can work efficiently and securely across all locations.
As our

- Hybrid working (we’re in the office 2 days per week)
- Annual pay reviews
- 26 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure all client devices meet corporate security baselines, including encryption, secure boot, antivirus/EDR, MFA, conditional access, and OS level hardening.
- Monitor endpoint compliance using tooling such as Intune, Defender, Rapid7, SCCM or equivalent.

- Maintain a centralised catalogue of approved applications with version control and documentation.
- Support the full lifecycle of devices: by working in partnership with members of the IT Hardware Asset Management team for the procurement, build, deployment, ongoing management, retirement and secure disposal of all client devices.
- Ensure devices remain fully patched (OS, drivers, firmware, apps) in accordance with corporate patching policies.
- Own the end-user experience across all device types, using analytics to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Support delivery of corporate initiatives (e.g. Windows feature upgrades, security uplift programmes, hardware refresh cycles).

- Experience with modern management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, MDM).
- Proven experience in software packaging, scripting, application deployment.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint issues across OS, application, network, and hardware layers.
- Strong documentation, attention to detail, and process discipline.
