YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Consultant – Advisory, you will be responsible for delivering Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) services across large and complex Government and Commercial engagements. You will play a key role in improving client security posture by conducting assessments, developing risk strategies, and delivering high-quality advisory outputs aligned to industry frameworks.
You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, risk, and business functions, contributing to multi-service engagements while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting continuous improvement in security capability maturity.
YOU’LL
- Deliver Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) assessments across client environments
- Support incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Contribute to risk assessment and strategy development
- Deliver high-quality reports for both executive and technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, risk, and business units
- Apply and align to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, ASD Essential Eight, and ISM
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 4–5 years’ experience in cyber security, ICT, or related domains
- Strong understanding of GRC frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, ISM)
- Experience delivering advisory engagements with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical risks into business outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting capability
- Experience contributing to policies, risk frameworks, and governance models
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISK, ISO27001, etc.) or working towards
