As our new
Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technology you will be a key part of a high performing internal recruitment team responsible for delivering the resourcing needs for our Technology and Digital Marketing teams amongst others. You will proactively manage internal and external candidate and stakeholder relationships, delivering a professional service to the business that results in the sourcing of high calibre talent for vacancies across a range of tech stacks in our Engineering, Data, Infrastructure and Test teams.

What will you do in the role?
Responsibilities
This is a highly visible role in the Talent Acquisition team with stakeholders based on site at our Leeds City Centre office, Holiday House. You’ll be responsible for the sourcing and delivery of the Technology headcount plan by partnering with the business and contributing the following:
- Candidate Sourcing & Management - You'll work hard to attract best in class candidates using a range of platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, specialist Tech sourcing tools and job boards. You'll make sure candidates are fully aware of our roles, culture and benefits, and where they sit in the process, to ensure a first class experience, right the way through to onboarding and beyond.
- Business Partnering – You’ll work with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to help identify current and future needs of the Technology team and advise on current market conditions and talent drivers in order to secure the best people. That means really knowing the technology recruitment landscape and being able to advise best practise.
- Data & Talent Analytics - You'll help to provide regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders to help plan recruitment more efficiently and update on current campaigns. This could be daily, weekly or monthly dashboards. You’ll also provide market data and candidate / competitor insight to help achieve a talent advantage.
- Talent Branding – You’ll be active on LinkedIn and other Social Media sites in order to increase awareness of the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays employer brand through a variety of company initiatives and channels.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
Skills
You’ll have a proven track record of delivering a high calibre recruitment service in a fast-paced environment from recruitment agency or an in-house head office based role. Key skills include:
- A specialism in recruiting Tech & Digital positions is crucial and you’ll understand how technology frameworks and languages fit together to support the SDLC.
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and how to build warm pipelines for current and future vacancies.
- Excellent at communicating to both internal hiring managers, candidates and the external market. You’ll work tirelessly to keep everyone in the loop.
- A strong personal brand. You’ll be active on social media i.e LinkedIn, etc talking all things Talent.
- Creativity and persistence in abundance with an enthusiasm for delivering a great candidate and customer experience as well as working knowledge of recruitment best practice, including processes and regulation.
