Job Title: Service Delivery Manager – On-Wing Services

Working Location: Indianapolis, IN
An exciting opportunity for a service delivery manager for On-Wing Services (OWS) has arisen in for our Indianapolis, IN location. The service delivery manager will report directly to the operations manager while working in unison with the head of OWS, the directory of quality and business manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activity of the flight technician staff in both the engine shop and field environments as well as the development and growth of both current and future flight technicians employed by On-Wing Services. The service delivery manager will play a key role in meeting financial goals while maintaining customer satisfaction and business development. In this role, you will travel domestically up to 25%.

What you will be doing:
- Represent all OWS, sales and customer relations in all forecasting and budgeting in coordination with the finance teams
- Manage Operational costs to remain within budgets
- Collation and analysis of OWS KPIs, and where necessary drive change to achieve KPIs
- Line management responsibility of OWS Business support team
- Ensure accurate invoicing of work performed by OWS
- Manage Capital Expenditure and Asset management
- Lead, motivate and inspire individuals and teams to meet the business challenges expected of them and find ways to grow their capability and potential through effective leadership
- Create, evaluate and develop new business opportunities with focus on profitability and workforce productivity
- Management, creation and enforcement of long-term agreements and contracts with external customers, service providers, vendors and business units
- Overall management of the SIOP process to include creation, negotiations, performance monitoring, and feedback to the business on SIOP accuracy
- Manage cost reduction plan for OWS activity
- Provide input such as industry trends, competitor and market information to aid in determining future business strategy
- Act as OWS representative in business unit program management activity to include creation of continuous improvement program plans
- Assist sales team on Business evaluations, costs center budgets, approvals for CA's, BE's and refund approvals

Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree with 7+ years of experience in aerospace, OR
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in aerospace, OR
- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in aerospace, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 9+ years of experience in aerospace in lieu of a degree
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of the range of products, systems, their functionality and applications, within the Rolls-Royce services environment
- Understanding of engineering principles, methods and procedures appropriate to a specialist work environment
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams with a strong background in aviation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office with experience administering both internal and external audits
- Supervisory / leadership experience working in a dynamic customer-facing environment and meeting customer requirements
