Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall management, planning, and delivery of data projects and initiatives across Cebu Pacific, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Own and maintain the data delivery roadmap, coordinating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release scheduling across multiple data workstreams.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and data teams (data engineering, analytics, data science), translating business requirements into actionable data project briefs.
- Shield data teams from project management overhead, enabling technical staff to focus on building, engineering, and analytical deliverables, similar to the Lift delivery model.
- Facilitate key project ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder status meetings for all data initiatives.
- Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively escalate blockers and propose timely resolutions.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation including project charters, delivery plans, RACI matrices, and status reports.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, ensuring transparency on delivery timelines, scope changes, and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise & Data Intelligence team to continuously improve delivery processes, frameworks, and governance standards for data projects.
- Support resource planning and capacity management in coordination with data team leads and the People Department.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive adoption of agile delivery methodologies and best practices within the data project teams.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency in data project delivery.
- Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams as required to ensure successful data project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent) is required.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management or delivery management experience, with at least 3 years managing data, analytics, or technology projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional data projects on time and within scope in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of data project lifecycles including data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
- Experience working with agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Relevant training in data management, business intelligence, or analytics platforms is an advantage.
- Continuous learning in emerging data technologies, delivery frameworks, and aviation industry trends is expected.
- Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Note: This position will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
