SATS and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) are leading providers of aviation gateway services, cargo handling, and ground services globally. Together, we operate across an extensive international network supporting airlines, airports, and supply chain partners worldwide.
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions to support strategic growth initiatives across EMEA, the Americas, and other key global markets. This role will partner closely with senior leadership on strategic investments, corporate development initiatives, partnerships, and M&A activity.
This position is remote-based in the United Kingdom with limited travel requirements; however, candidates should be comfortable supporting a global organization and participating in meetings across multiple international time zones when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic investments and corporate development initiatives across key global markets.
- Lead and support execution of M&A transactions and strategic projects from evaluation through integration.
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, feasibility studies, and commercial assessments related to potential transactions.
- Support due diligence activities, including coordination of internal and external stakeholders and preparation of findings for executive leadership.
- Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic investment opportunities.
- Prepare presentations, investment memorandums, board materials, and executive reporting related to transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence, and business development opportunities within the aviation, logistics, and transportation sectors.
- Support post-merger integration planning, value creation initiatives, and strategic optimization projects across the business.
- Drive project management activities throughout the M&A lifecycle, including timeline management, risk tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
- CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or similar professional qualification is a plus.
- Approximately 3–7 years of professional experience, including direct exposure to M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Big 4 Transaction Services, Corporate Development, or a related strategic finance environment.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and working with senior stakeholders in a global environment.
- Exposure to international markets and global business operations is highly preferred.
- Aviation, transportation, logistics, or infrastructure industry experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
