Executive, Central Region International Marketing

Position Summary
This role will be responsible for implementing and executing marketing strategies and initiatives in Central Region (Malaysia) with a primary focus on East Malaysia. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Central Region marketing team to bring marketing campaigns to life, drive business growth, and increase revenue aligned to fulfil the Commercial division’s goals.
Key Accountability
- Assist with end-to-end marketing initiatives and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver success for the accountable market.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external parties in integrated marketing communication initiatives.
- Implement and execute marketing plans and initiatives. Ensure marketing plans are delivered on time and meet objectives.
- Monitor, track, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives. Provide regular updates to the Assistant Manager / Manager and Central Region Senior Manager to ensure all activities are aligned with objectives and targets.
- Liaise with internal and external teams, including creative teams, digital teams, media agencies, and PR agencies to ensure delivery of assigned tasks.
- Follow established processes and procedures for marketing activities. Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and contribute to the success of marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local partners, distributors, and agencies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, creative, revenue management, etc.) to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Create tracking codes and performance dashboards for campaign monitoring and optimization.
- Ensure campaigns are well executed and aligned with HQ.
- Assist with analysis of route and campaign performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to uncover new revenue opportunities.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or any related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing; preferably in travel, tourism, or aviation industry.
- An added advantage to have a track record of driving purchase conversions through performance marketing.
Areas of Experience
- Experienced in integrated marketing communication strategy and execution.
- Preferably experienced in digital performance marketing, from planning to implementation; familiarity with digital advertising platforms is an added advantage.
- Skilled in planning integrated marketing across all consumer touchpoints, with strong knowledge of both traditional and digital channels.
- Understands the full consumer funnel and has experience optimizing digital conversion campaigns
