Basic Qualifications
- Willing to support domestic and international travel. International travel will be to low, medium, and high-risk security level countries as required.
- Demonstrated skills in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated skills following established maintenance and test procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and follow schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Must have an DOD Interim Secret clearance to start with a valid US Driver's License.
- Proficient using MS Office software including, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated skills using different pieces of test equipment including, digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and signal generator.

Who You Are
This position is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment working with an established Radar Field Engineering Team. In this role the candidate will become an active member of an established team supporting our Ground-Based Air Surveillance line of business. The candidate will be supporting multiple roles and duties daily. These duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoot radars and associated assemblies, subassemblies, mechanical and electric system components for deficiencies and malfunctions.
- Remove and replace faulty assembles and subassemblies.
- Assist in the installation and checkout of new radars throughout the world. International and domestic travel requirements average about 50-75% annually.
- Assist in maintaining the onsite Syracuse radar test beds.

- Previous field engineering experience in support of defense programs.
- Working knowledge of Radar Principles.
- Experience operating and maintaining radars, including but not limited to; TPY-4, FPS-117, TPS-77, and TPQ-53 radar systems.
- Previous military experience performing operation, repair and upkeep on radar platforms.
- Understanding of Unix/Linux operating system in the area's of file system navigation and commands.
