You will be the Aircraft Structural Mechanic II for the SOF GLSS team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality maintenance, inspection, and sustainment services that support the Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS) contract.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aircraft Structural Mechanic II you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance, instruction, and hands‑on support to less‑experienced personnel while executing complex aircraft structural tasks.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Perform advanced structural repairs, modifications, and inspections on aircraft components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Provide technical instruction and mentorship to junior mechanics, guiding skill development and best‑practice execution.
- Diagnose and resolve complex problems, applying deep technical expertise to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates clearly to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Document work performed, maintain accurate records, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Desired Skills
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Sheet metal fabrication, riveting and assembly of complicated sub structures.
- High-precision work with tight tolerances.
- SAP experience.
