Role Introduction
Protect and strengthen the security framework that underpins Cathay Cargo’s global operations. This role translates international security standards and regulatory requirements into practical, customer- and operations-focused actions that safeguard shipments, sustain audit readiness and preserve service quality across the network.
Day to day, the work blends investigation, governance and performance management. Security occurrences are led through root cause analysis and corrective action, intelligence is shared with Group Safety and Operational Risk Management, and port-level dashboards turn incident and threat data into clear risk mitigation priorities. Alongside this, global trade control compliance is overseen end to end, from screening effectiveness to regulator engagement and management reporting.
The impact is tangible: secure, compliant and uninterrupted cargo services that customers can trust. By elevating supplier performance and anticipating emerging threats, the role reinforces Cathay’s leadership in air cargo while offering a platform to grow as a recognised security and compliance professional.
