Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Overview:
A dynamic New Business Development Sales Manager responsible for industries handling highly confidential and private data. This role demands a proactive sales attitude and a hunter mentality to drive high-touch sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently deliver revenue performance and growth as per assigned quarterly sales quotas.
- Expand Thales’s data security solution portfolio, including Encryption, Key Management, and other related solutions.
- Build and present Thales's value proposition to executive-level target customers.
- Develop and execute business plans with customers, securing executive commitment.
- Create and maintain business account plans, conducting quarterly reviews with sales executive management.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
- Direct sales experience targeting new customers.
- Proven ability to identify and engage key stakeholders in target accounts.
- Expertise in developing relationships with key accounts leveraging marketing-generated leads.
- Trusted partner relationship management with senior management.
- Preferable experience working with or within competitors like Entrust.
- Preferable experience collaborating with major System Integrators (e.g., NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, NRI).
- Preferable experience working with major cloud vendors (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle).
- Preferable experience working with major cloud consulting firms (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, PwC).
Skills:
- Strong direct sales skills with a hunter mentality to penetrate targeted accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of data security.
- Native Japanese language proficiency and business-level English capability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage all organizational
levels.
- Understanding of decision-making processes, operational models, business strategies, and commercial flows of targeted customers.
- Strong business planning skills with a proven ability to execute and deliver on defined plans.
- Ability to work under pressure and perform job functions independently with limited supervision.
