Your role
The Threat Intelligence Lead role exists to enhance Thales’ ability to detect and understand threats by using advanced data analytics and intelligence so that the organisation can identify risks earlier, respond more effectively and protect people, assets and operations.
- Enhance enterprise threat detection across insider, cyber, physical, and supplier domains to enable earlier risk identification
- Leverage advanced analytics, behavioural models, and User Entity Behavioural Analytics (UEBA) to deliver high-value threat insights with fewer false positives, improving operational response
- Maintain reliable and secure integrated data pipelines and models for consistent threat intelligence delivery
- Support threat investigations with accurate, data-driven insights that empower HR, Legal, SOC, and Security teams to make informed decisions
- Combine OSINT, internal telemetry, and partner information to strengthen threat assessments and situational awareness
- Provide threat intelligence that informs governance, risk reporting, and assurance, ensuring senior leadership stays informed of threat trends
- Drive continuous improvement of detection logic, controls, and response processes through cross-domain threat insights, reducing systemic security vulnerabilities
Your experience
- Bring proven experience managing Trusted Insider Threat programs in medium to large enterprises or government settings, including designing governance, applying detection methodologies like UEBA and anomaly analytics, coordinating across HR, Legal, SOC, and privacy teams, and delivering privacy-aligned, defensible investigation support
- Apply hands-on machine learning and data science skills such as anomaly detection, supervised learning, and time-series analysis, along with proficiency in data engineering for security telemetry
- Leverage your familiarity with key security domains including identity management, DLP, SIEM, and data platforms, as well as insider risk operations
- Utilise OSINT tradecraft and enrichment expertise, with a solid understanding of relevant legal and policy frameworks
- Demonstrate strong documentation skills in creating model cards, validation reports, and runbooks, coupled with effective communication to stakeholders
