- Track monthly expenditures categorically, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Maintain and manage a multi-million-dollar budget, implementing strategies to achieve cost reductions while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Seek and recommend cost improvement opportunities through process optimization and vendor negotiations.
Process Optimization and Efficiency Initiatives
- Develop and implement recovery processes to ensure tactical and strategic recovery in repair operations.
- Implement MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supply chain efficiency initiatives to streamline procurement processes and reduce lead times.
- Manage interface with in-house repair shops to optimize routing of unserviceable components for in-house repairs.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
- Develop performance metrics for the repair department and staff, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) against supply chain targets.
- Report on staff and process KPI performance data, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
- Develop and measure internal customer service levels, ensuring timely and effective response to operational requirements.
