Position Responsibilities:
The Boeing Company is currently looking for Associate Digital Engineer - PLM position located at Bangalore, India. seeking to design, develop and test new computing systems and applications across PLM to facilitate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements. This position reports directly to the Digital Engineering -
PLM Manager.
As a member of PLM team, you will be responsible for the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Manager to deliver Engineering statements of work to meet the organizational goals
Position Responsibilities:
- Functional member in the support & testing of the PLM applications like 3DX ENOVIA/ENOVIA-V5/Teamcenter in Change Management, Configuration Management & Engineering Release & Route Management.
- Candidate must have strong attention to detail and knowledge on Configuration Management processes.
- Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and 3Dexperience and 3D Part modeling using parametric relations.
- Working experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with use of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and systems modeling methods with expertise in RFLP architecture.
- Design and develop CAD custom applications development, testing and deployment using C#/VBA/EKL is a good to have.
- Part of a team of PLM engineers to develop and manage product line system requirements. Decompose aircraft level requirements and/or customer use cases to product line level i.e. equipment / systems software level requirements and establish tracing.
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, functional requirements and non-functional requirements.
- Work as a local team of PLM Engineers, provide daily direction of tasks and assignments.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- This position requires 4 to 8 years of demonstrated experience in Product Lifecycle Management and automation tools and methodologies.
- This position requires 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience with exposure to Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of various workflows, in an end-to-end product development with a system / system-of-systems environment is preferred.
- Experience and familiarity PLM, preferably ENOVIA/3DExperience platform is mandatory
- Experience in python-based tools, and APIs for PLM/PDM data processing, automation and analytics are added advantages.
- Functional experience of product development in Aerospace/Automotive domain is mandatory.
- Good to have Experience in developing and maintaining scripts using for automating tasks within the PDM/PLM environment.
- Hands on experience on VBA scripting/ Java scripting/ Python scripting is a preferred experience.
- Familiarity with the Agile/SAFe Process is mandatory
- Strong written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff.
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- INCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantage.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 Plus years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 4 years' related work experience.)
